BLCU Campus

2004 - 2005
It's not snowing - the white flakes are pollen from trees around the campus.
The enormous main building, where almost all our classes are now held.
Traffic outside the new subway station.
View from my apartment window.
Yet more construction.
A snow-covered Confucius. Although much criticised after the fall of the emperor, Confucius is still widely respected in particular for his contributions to education, and almost every school in China has a statue of him.
"Respect science, love life, protect human rights, oppose cults" - the CCP's homily for the day in my apartment block.
