Welcome
I am a first-year PhD student at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Hong Kong. Originally from the UK, I first became interested in Chinese philosophy while studying Mandarin Chinese in Beijing.
I am also the author and administrator of the Chinese Text Project, a website devoted to the study of classical Chinese texts. As the site costs money to run and I am a full-time student, donations towards the running costs of the site are greatly appreciated.
What's new
Having recently graduated from Soochow University, I have relocated from Taipei to Hong Kong, and begun my studies at Hong Kong University. My MA thesis at Soochow was on the "Philosophy of Language in the Mohist dialectical chapters"; I have not yet finalized my PhD thesis title.
