You can imagine the scene, The Devil is sitting by his fire (one of many) and trying to think of a name for this second life that he plans to lead. "I know," he thinks, "I'll use a highly imaginative anagram of my other alias, 'Satan'. Now, what can it be, Natas - nah, sounds like a Greek. How about Staan - nah, bit Dutch and they're all into flowers and things over there - pansies I'll bet [devilish laughter, throws small child on fire]. I know, Santa, that's it, Santa. I just hope nobody ever makes the link."
Well, 'Santa is Satan' has made this link and believe this is clear evidence of the devilish masquerading as the angelic.
Further evidence is revealed when a study is made of Satan/Santa's other aliases. In Scotland, the devil is often referred to as 'Auld Nick'. This is clearly similar to another name used by Santa, 'St. Nicholas'. This is further proof of the two being the same man and also of his poor imagination.
Also in Scots, the Devil is also often referred to as 'Auld Clootie'. As most Scots will know, clootie normally refers to a Clootie Dumpling which, significantly, is often eaten at Christmas. I believe that this is no coincidence.
Of course, Santa is merely a shortened version of this man's real name. He likes to be known as Santa Claus. The significance here is the pronunciation of his surname. Claus, pronounced 'claws' is not the name of a well-rounded, cuddly, jovial character, it is the name of a violent psychopath with a penchant for torture.
